We are pleased that, after a two-year hiatus, we are once again hosting regular Erasmus+ students at the Faculty of Theology in the 2025/2026 academic year.
In the summer semester, doctoral student Mátyás Nagy from Romania began his mobility exchange. He describes himself as follows:
"I am a Hungarian PhD student from the Transylvania region of Romania, visiting from the Ecumene Doctoral School at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. I am a member of the Reformed (Calvinist) Church. My academic research focuses on the Christian ethical challenges of AI ethics and digital profiling, so it is a wonderful opportunity for me to work here with Professor Vojko Strahovnik as my mentor.
Ljubljana is a beautiful city, and I truly appreciate the open ecumenical spirit I have experienced since I arrived. I also think it is a great opportunity to go on trips and get to know students from other faculties; it has been a wonderful way to feel part of the wider university community."
During the winter semester, we were also visited by Elsa Nobuoka, a student from Sweden, who decided to participate in the mobility programme after attending the Taizé meeting in Ljubljana in 2023, and Ján Mikuško, a student and seminarian from Slovakia, whose interview can be read on Aleteia.si.
