As part of the CEEPUS programme, the 10th International Spring School, titled "On the Search for Peace – Multidisciplinary Approaches," was held in Pécs, Hungary, from 16 to 21 March 2026. The event was attended by 26 students from various European universities, including seven from the Faculty of Theology at the University of Ljubljana.

Two professors from the Faculty of Theology at the University of Ljubljana participated in the spring school: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Roman Globokar and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mateja Pevec Rozman. They delivered lectures and led workshops titled:
Was Pope Francis a Pacifist? (Roman Globokar), and In the Search of Peace – Multidisciplinary Approaches (Mateja Pevec Rozman).

The spring school programme included a range of lectures, workshops, and group work addressing the theme of peace from various disciplinary perspectives. Special emphasis was placed on active student participation, which was also reflected in the joint “World Café” project, designed to facilitate knowledge transfer.

An important contribution of the spring school was the exploration of new teaching methods and the exchange of professional knowledge with colleagues from other European universities. Participants had the opportunity to explore different perspectives and the intellectual worlds of other cultural contexts, which further enriched the programme and stimulated the creativity of both students and lecturers. The positive effect of the new environment was also significant, as it fostered relaxed relationships, an open flow of ideas, greater openness to dialogue, and more dedicated and motivated work. It was especially pleasant to meet our students, whose enthusiastic participation and warmth contributed to the welcoming atmosphere.

The Spring School is an important experience that supports academic development, strengthens international cooperation, and fosters mutual networking.
