Conferral of Doctoral Degrees at the University of Ljubljana, Including Seven from TEOF

On 1 and 2 June 2026, the University of Ljubljana held a formal graduation ceremony for doctoral candidates at the Križanke Auditorium. A total of 330 new doctoral candidates received their degrees during the two ceremonies.

Among those honoured were seven Doctors of Science from the Faculty of Theology at the University of Ljubljana (listed by name). The conferral of doctoral degrees is regarded as one of the University of Ljubljana’s most prestigious academic ceremonies, as it symbolically confirms the successful completion of the highest level of study and showcases outstanding research achievements to the wider public.

At the Faculty of Theology of the University of Ljubljana, we are proud of the achievements of our new PhD recipients, who have contributed to the advancement of science and the wider academic community through their research.
