Proof of Student Status

From the 2026/2027 academic year, the University of Ljubljana is introducing a new feature that enables students to provide proof of their status in digital form: the ‘Proof of Student Status’.

A new feature is now available in the University of Ljubljana ID Portal, accessible at ID Portal UL.

After signing in with your digital identity, open the "Student Status Certificate" tile, where you can access:

• A QR code for student status verification, valid for 60 minutes.
• A barcode for use in university libraries.

The functionality is also optimized for use on mobile devices, allowing you to access your student status certificate on your phone.
