At a meeting with Pope Leo XIV, attended by all Slovenian bishops, the Faculty of Theology of the University of Ljubljana and its extensive international cooperation were also presented. Some participants in the meeting are lecturers at the Faculty of Theology.
The discussion focused on topics in the philosophy of religion and contemporary ethics, particularly issues of liberalism and communitarianism, and work within European ethical bodies.
The Holy Father listened with interest to the presentation of current ethical issues facing Europe today, including the challenges of artificial intelligence, bioethics, mental health, surrogacy, and palliative care.
