Professors from the Faculty of Theology at the 8th International Week in Skopje

Prof. Dr. Bojan Žalec and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Roman Globokar participated in the 8th International Week organised by the Faculty of Philosophy at St. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje from 23 to 27 February 2026. The international week, entitled "Fostering Youth Excellence", was dedicated to interdisciplinary dialogue on achieving the United Nations sustainable development goals for 2030.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Roman Globokar gave a presentation entitled "The digital age and the holistic development of children", discussing the impact of digital media on the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. Prof. Dr. Bojan Žalec delivered a lecture entitled "Education for peacefulness and sustainable development in the light of relationship ethics". The key points of his contribution were resonance, empathy, and the tragic nature of violence. The meeting with colleagues from numerous European universities provided an opportunity for fruitful discussions and planning future cooperation. In addition to the high-quality contributions, the hosts' exceptional hospitality was also noteworthy.
