Aljaž Krajnc (*1995) graduated in theological and religious studies in 2017. In the same year, he enrolled at the Pontificio Istituto di Studi Arabi e d’Islamistica, where he obtained a master's degree in Arabic and Islamic studies (2020). Since October 2020, he has been employed as a young researcher at the Faculty of Theology. Under the joint supervision of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Ljubljana and the Pontificio Istituto di Studi Arabi e d’Islamistica, he obtained his doctorate in theology and Islamic and Arabic studies in June 2025 with a thesis on the use of the semantic field of God's kingship in the Bible, post-biblical texts, and the Quran.
