Saša Poljak Lukek (*1979)

In 2015 (2020) she became Assistant Professor at the Department of Marriage and Family Therapy and Psychology and Sociology of Religion at the Faculty of Theology.

In 2009 and 2010 coordinator of the International Parenting Survey for Slovenia under the auspices of the Family Research Laboratory, University of New Hampshire.

Since 2009 she has been actively involved in the preparation and implementation of the curriculum of the Bologna Master's degree programme in Marriage and Family Studies.

Since 2007 actively involved in the preparation for the courses of the postgraduate programme in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Active participant in conferences with presentation in the field of relational family therapy.

Completed a ten-month internship with supervision at the Franciscan Family Institute. Since 2006 she has been doing independent therapeutic work under supervision and in 2009 she obtained the certificat of Marriage and Family Therapist, Teacher and Supervisor at the Association of Marriage and Family Therapists of Slovenia.

She gained knowledge in organising and co-creating a "school for parents" in order to present a relational view of the family to parents of children in kindergarten and the first grades of primary school.

Through volunteer work during her undergraduate studies, she gained skills in organising and implementing adventure-educational camps and social workshops in primary schools in Ljubljana for socially disadvantaged children.
